You're not lazy, you're just out of phase

Upon realizing that self care is fundamental to my creative process and practice, I redesigned my life around the rhythms of my body, scheduling with and not against the natural ebb and flow of my energy throughout the day.
By holding sleep sacred and my health holy, I am able to stabilize and amplify that rhythm, and make the best of my energy peaks and energy dips. Suddenly work didn’t feel like a fight for my life, and building a routine became effortless. And now when I fall I just have to listen to my rhythm to know when to rise up.

You see when work is aligned with YOUR energy, your effort amplifies, but when your work and energy don’t align, your effort is cancelled out. So Stop forcing deep work when your energy is low, because that’s not discipline, it’s pointless friction.

So rest, Then Try this:
Notice when your energy is naturally high. Find your energy schedule; start an energy log.
Do your most important work there. Build your routine around your energy cycles
Use low-energy time for lighter tasks, or energizing activities
At Angozi Studio, Im cultivating a creative practice that works with and not against natural rhythms, because sustainable creativity is better than forced productivity.
